MECHANICAL ENGINEERING ROADSHOW 2021 FOSHAN

 

Italy’s achievements in the development of the machinery industry have attracted worldwide attention. As a representative of China-Italy joint ventures, the industrial machinery seminar and the Foshan Foreign Investment Recommendation Conference organized by China-Italy Chamber of Commerce and undertaken by Guangdong Fosber Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd have been carried out smoothly on Sep.23. The roadshow is focused on Industrial Innovation, Financing Innovation and Intellectual Property Rights protection of Industry 4.0 with in-depth discussion. This event was supported and helped by the Italian Consulate in Guangzhou, China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, the Foshan CPPCC and Foshan Bureau of Commerce. More than 50 people including Mr. Mao Yongtian, the vice chairman of the Foshan CPPCC， Ms. Wu HuiYing, Deputy Director Foshan Bureau of Commerce, Mr. Paolo Bazzoni, Chairman of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Bruno Hernandez, representative of the Foshan Bureau of Commerce, Mr. Vincenzo Raffa, the manager of China-Italy Chamber of Commerce in South China, Lucia Pasqualini, the Consul General of Italy in Guangzhou, Antonio Tagliati, the representative of the Mechanical Engineering Working Group of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, Mr Tang Zhuolin, Chairman of Dongfang Precision Group, Mr Marco Bertola, General Manager of Guangdong Fosber Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd attended this event.

 

The roadshow was divided into two parts. The first part officially started at 10:30 at Fosber Asia in the morning. Mr. Marco Bertola, as the representative of Fosber Asia, introduced the development status of the co-organizer Fosber Asia, which is a subsidiary of Dongfang Precision Group, and the development of China and Fosber Asia factory visit on site.

 

The roadshow in the afternoon was began by Mr. Vincenzo Raffa, the manager of China-Italy Chamber of Commerce in South China and Ms. Lucia Pasqualini, the Consul General of Italy in Guangzhou with good expectations of China-Italy cooperation and the full confidence in the future strong cooperation. Ms. Lucia Pasqualini also said that the Greater Bay Area has a strong culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as advanced high-tech industries and high-end manufacturing. Foshan, as an important economy of the Greater Bay Area, has always adhered to industrial innovation and contributed to the transformation of the Greater Bay Area's manufacturing industry from manufacturing to intelligent manufacturing and creation. Mr. Mao Yongtian, the vice chairman of the Foshan CPPCC made a brief introduction to the regional economy of Foshan and expressed that as a domestic economy with a total industrial output value of more than 2.3 trillion yuan, the Foshan government is willing to shoulder the responsibility of jointly building a better Greater Bay Area to create more efficient communication for foreign investment and service. Then Mr. Paolo Bazzoni, Chairman of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. Bruno Hernandez, representative of the Foshan Bureau of Commerce, gave speeches respectively.

 

Finally, Antonio Tagliati, the representative of the Manufacturing Engineering Working Group of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce mentioned that the member companies of the Working Group accounted for more than half of the output value of Italy’s exports to China. China is Italy’s third largest exporter in the field of machinery and equipment. The cooperation on industry between China and Italy has been continuously improving.

 

Then the roadshow began. Gianluca Giorgi, the General Manager of ES Automation Consulting Ltd, gave a keynote speech on "Manufacturing Innovation in China". The focus of the speech is on the key applications of blockchain technology in industrial production. For example, it provides new solutions for supply chain management and supply chain logistics management. New answers are proposed to improve the efficiency and accuracy of supply chain logistics management.

 

Mr. Massimiliano Guelfo, General Manager at Piaggio China, gave a keynote speech with the theme of "Innovative Brand Awareness Promotion in the Chinese Market", mainly sharing PIAGGIO's products through improved user experience and thus enhancing the brand value.

 

Mr. Jay Chen, the representative of China Relationship Manager at SACE Spa, gave us a speech on the theme of "Financing Innovation". As the export credit agency of Italy, it supports the needs of Chinese borrowers for targeted and intentional procurement financing plans. A series of financing innovations such as buyer's credit and promotion policies have provided more financial guarantees for the promotion of China-Italy trade.

 

Fabio Giacopello, the representative of Partner at HFG Law & Intellectual, made a speech on the topic of "Patent Protection in China in the Manufacturing field" and made suggestions on the self-protection of companies that have lawsuits in the patent field. In addition, Mr. Valentino Lucini, the representative of Counsel at Wang Jing & GH Law Firm, also talked about IPR with topic on “How to effectively protect your IPR in China: practical guide”.

 

The whole event content was rich, which involved some of the most cutting-edge issues and the most concerned issues in the management process of Italian industrial enterprises in China, thus in-depth discussions were conducted. The atmosphere was very lively and the participants all returned with great joy.
